The arctic monkeys has won Best ALBUM Award for AM at the BRIT Awards 2014. It was a hugely successful night for the indie rockers who were chasing victory in two very tough categories.
The Story of My Life boy band missed out on the trophy British Album of the Year gong for a second year in a row, instead once again taking home the Global Success Award.
However, Alex Turner and his band were crowned champions after the success of their fifth chart-topping album AM.
It was a triumphant night for the group, who weren’t nominated at all last year and failed to win the British Group category in 2012.
