Branch Manager of a Suffolk Bank Embezzled £17,000 from Client’s Account

He was a cocaine user, who started take payday loans and loot money from clients account to pay his loans while he was branch manager at Santander in Market Place, Hadleigh.

At first he had denied the offense and tried to blame other staffs. He said that someone else could have utilized his password and took money.The prosecutor, Martin Ivory, said Brazier had made 26 withdrawals of £500 total £13,000 from one couple’s account and six £500 withdrawals from the account of an elderly woman.

As a Branch manager, he has paid of £20,000 and 3 or 4 people had working for him. But his expenditure was more than his income and his life style led him to 12 months jailing.
