Ever wished of staying atop a hill in a small but cozy hut with a view of all the small and huge snow hugged mountains? Well here is your chance and luck because the stay might be free. All you need to do is to climb on to a 8300m hill in Italy, when you succeed there’s your dream come true. It was commisioned by the family of late mountain climber Luca Vuerich, who died in an avalanche in 2010, and designed by architect Giovanni Pesamosca which is located on the Ceria-Merlone trail. The hut is made with prefabricated wooden cabin. The chapel like design gives the hut the functioning of a typical hill region houses.
The 16sqm hut construction wasn’t easy and the materials were flown to this high altitude by helicopter over 18 trips and with the help of a team of 12 professional workers, mountain rescue volunteers and Luca’s friends working for a single day completed this structure.
The  sweeping panoramic view of the Julian Alps in Italy isn’t the one you would want to miss from the ‘hut’.
