7 week-old Lachlan was born as deaf, having been diagnosed very early on with severe sensorineural hearing impairment in both ears.
The moment that he was able to hear for the very first time with his first hearing aid. His reaction when the doctor turned on the aid was truly amazing. He went from shock and was quite confused over this new experience with the most precious little smile on his littile face
Lachlan’s parents say their little boy is two years old now and doing remarkably well.He started speech therapy with the assistance of an early intervention service offered by Tarayle, which is an oral language center for deaf children.
