David Beckham Involved in Car Crash
David Beckham was reportedly involved in a car crash after the he picked up his son Brooklyn from Arsenal’s training facilities in Hertfordshire on Saturday morning.
The incident is thought to have occurred after Beckham collected his 15-year-old son who plays for the Gunners’ under-16 side in his Audi before the crash took place with another vehicle.
Beckham and his son were not hurt in the crash, although they were said to be ‘shaken’ by the incident.
Police would not confirm the ex-England captain, 39, was involved in the crash in London Colney, Hertfordshire, on Saturday, but said a grey Audi RS6 had collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt.
The male driver of the Audi was slightly injured, they said.
The Telegraph said Beckham’s son Brooklyn was in the car at the time.
Police were called to the incident at 13:29 GMT.
A source, who is believed to be close to the Beckham family, told The Telegraph, “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang but thankfully everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine.”
Another source said, “The oncoming car was going at quite a speed.”
Brooklyn is thought to have signed for Arsenal on a short-term contract in early November after impressing during training sessions with the north London outfit.
