A video was posted on Facebook last night which depicts a passenger being dragged off an United Airlines airplane by his arms.

The video shows three men wearing security uniform speaking to a man seated on the plane. After a brief discussion, one of the security guards grabs the man, who proceeds to scream. The large men then dragged him down the aisle by his arms – the passenger obviously in deep pain and distress.

According to a United Spokesmen, the flight, which was from Chicago to Louisville, was overbooked. The airline had requested for volunteers to leave the aircraft, however one customer refused to leave voluntarily to which the airline called security.

Audra D. Bridgers, who originally posted the video stated:
“We are on this flight. United airlines overbooked the flight. They randomly selected people to kick off so their crew could have a seat. This man is a doctor and has to be at the hospital in the morning. He did not want to get off. We are all shaky and so disgusted.

Unfortunately, there have been no updates about the man who was forcibly removed.
