Stepmum Forced Kids To Lick Poo From Toilet And Whipped Their Genitals With A Belt
A stepmum has been charged with meting out a string of sick punishments to her stepkids, including forcing them to lick faeces from the toilet, according to reports.
Sara Anne Woody, 25, of Burkburnett, near Wichita Falls in Texas, was charged with injury to a child and serious bodily or mental injury after her alleged victims broke their silence.
The children told cops Woody would beat and starve them on a regular basis, before dishing out cruel punishments when they tried to steal food, the Times Record News reports.
They said she would make them lick the toilet bowl when they did something wrong and would whip one of them across the genitals when he wet the bed, the paper claims.
The kids also alleged Woody would lock them in wardrobes overnight and make them drink things that would make them throw up – such as a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water.
They even claimed to have been forced to do push-ups and other exercises – saying they would be beaten with a tent pole if they stopped.
The abuse was allegedly so bad that one of the children has been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The claims are only said to have come to light when doctors raised the alarm after one of the kids was taken to hospital with what were deemed to be suspicious injuries.
The child is said to have been brought in with cuts and bruises around his head and face – some of which were new and others old.
The boy’s father, Jonathan Darrell Woody – who was arrested last year and charged with several counts of child endangerment for failing to prevent the alleged violence – told cops the wounds were just from the kids playing around, it was reported.
But medics said the injuries were more consistent with an assault.
