Land Rover Driver Thinks It’s OK To Park Their Car On Top Of Graves Whilst Visiting Cemetery
This Range Rover driver opted to park their car directly on top of graves in a cemetery, even though there was a car park with empty spaces close by.
A man who spotted the car in Loughborough Cemetery said he was ‘disgusted’ by the sight, with the car parked over a number of graves.
The resident said he checked the car park to see if it was full but found there were spaces available.
He said: ‘It is absolutely disgusting and it shows a complete lack of respect.

‘I couldn’t believe it when I first saw it to be honest, there were even fresh flowers on one of the graves and another of them looked like they had just been put down.
‘Imagine if that was one of your relatives and you saw that, you would be outraged.
‘What makes it even worse is the fact that I checked the car park, and you could see car parking spaces so I have no idea why someone would feel the need to do this.’
A Charnwood Borough Council spokesman said: ‘We ask that all visitors to Loughborough Cemetery park in a courteous and respectful way and we would like to take this opportunity to remind people of this.

‘The cemetery does not have any enforceable parking restrictions and we have never had the need for any.
‘We will ask cemetery staff to be extra vigilant to any potential inconsiderate parking and point people towards the best places to park.
‘We accept the cemetery can be busy at times but there is usually a space somewhere and we are looking at ways to improve the situation.
‘Parking on graves is completely unacceptable and disrespectful.’
