A Couple Create ‘Mega Bed’ So All 8 Rescue Dogs Can Sleep With Them
When we take home rescue dogs, we want them to know that they are more than just pets….they are family members! The family in this story is definitely pushing this idea to the absolute limit, though. However, we are totally on board. Did you know that studies support the idea of dogs sleeping next to their humans? It is said to significantly improve our health!
By this logic, this family is about to be one of the healthiest on the planet. While it is not always easy to share a bedroom with a dog, this is one family that does not allow themselves to worry about these sorts of concerns. They are willing to open up their bedroom to a whopping eight dogs! Yes, you read that last sentence exactly right, we assure you.
Mariesa and Chris are one generous couple. Not only have they opened their dog to eight different rescue dogs but they do not believe in allowing the animals to sleep alone. They knew that there had to be a way for them to properly accommodate all of the animals and they would stop at nothing until they were cozy. As such, they elected to build a gigantic bed.
What’s the point in taking the time to deal with the ins and outs of a doggy bed when you can just make a giant size bed for you and your pups? We are not going to lie to you, we are kind of jealous of this idea. Mike Ford is responsible for assisting this Clifton Park couple with their giant bed and it took him six months to finish the construction process.
