“I’m willing to run the 4⨯100m all by myself”: USAIN BOLT
After having his gold for 4x100m taken away because one of his teammates was found guilty of doping during the 2008 Olympics, Bolt told reporters that the only way to prevent this is not to have teammates.
“I am angry that I lost the gold even though it wasn’t due any mistake of mine. I’m willing to run all the four legs by myself. I will keep swapping the baton from hand to hand at each handover area.” said Usain Bolt
“If the authorities think that this is unfair, I am willing to run one of the legs backward to even things up a bit?
“No? How about I have to run five or six legs instead of four? I don’t mind, really. I believer of fair play. I don’t want to lose another gold ever again.
“Look, I don’t care what you want to do, I’ll even let all the other runners take drugs – I can’t be fairer than that.”
