There’s nothing such as disabled or less abled, but only differently abled. Autism is a state where an individual is not able to get engaged in various social activities. This neurological disorder is poorly understood too. But autism can sometimes be a gift as is in the case of a 5-year-old Iris Grace from UK. She has the unexpected gift to focus on details which has helped her to create beautiful and different paintings.
Little Iris is slowly learning to speak as a part of autism training and this is where her parents introduced her to painting and she soon showed talent.
“We have been encouraging Iris to paint to help with speech therapy, joint attention and turn taking, ” her mother, Arabella Carter Johnson,
explains on her website. “ Then we realised that she is actually really talented and has an incredible concentration span of around 2 hours
each time she paints. Her autism has created a style of painting which I have never seen in a child of her age, she has an understanding of colours and how they interact with each other.” Folks there’s still hope for every good things to happen
