A Jewel – But more of a Resource and more of an Innovation

Here is something really new, invented as a discussion point rather than mass production. An ornament rather than just an invention, one which really carves out the energy addicts. Naomi Kizhner , an industrial designer and graduate student from Hadassah College in Jerusalem, has designed jewelry that theoretically extracts energy from the wearers own body. The ‘speculative’ jewelry is embedded into the person’s veins and uses their blood to turn small wheels inside the device.

Her project is called ‘energy addicts’ and it consists of three pieces of jewelry: The Blinker, The E-Pulse Conductor, and The Blood Bridge. The idea of these are to derive energy from our own body and to minimize the exploitation of resources!
